How in the world are they going to fit everything you've done into one place?
All your vast accomplishments, your beautiful music, your style, your compassion and your passion.
Thank you!
I am one of many that you have inspired and I love you for that.
I'm not age-ist, but I still think [Debbie] is cool.

Her deep alto singing voice has plain-spoken charm and Southern-accented, forthright honesty.
She earns the DisCovery Award.

For the last few years we have watched the configuration of Music Row change drastically with over 50 buildings torn down and replaced with mostly non-music related businesses like condos, hotels and apartments and displacing businesses.
We have been working with the city council, the mayor and the planning department to consider a sensitive, strategic long term plan for the Row and when possible preserve historic assets (there are 55 remaining National Register Eligible sites).
We are also forming a non-profit Music Row Preservation Trust, asking to be named a National Cultural District and urging metro to offer incentives (as they have with many other businesses).
