Indiana Black Expo (IBE) is a non-profit, based in Indianapolis, that works to strengthen communities across the state of Indiana through education, health, and economic initiatives.
Since 1970, IBE has been a voice and vehicle for social and economic advancement within the African-American community.
Heading into their 50th year IBE engaged Shout Out to help plan a fresh communications strategy and lead their marketing efforts.
In addition to overall marketing management, Shout Out was asked to help redesign all of IBE's marketing materials and provide a professional aesthetic for their major annual fundraisers.
Cliff Original is a young grooming and styling brand that focuses on healthier options for hair care, skincare, and beard care.
We first engaged Cliff Original back in 2014.
At that time, founder, Jared Friesner had been hustling for a year to expand his product line and increase exposure.
The reaction from the market was overwhelmingly positive, but there was a lot to be done and he needed support.
If Cliff Original was going to grow and compete in the market it needed a strong sense of self and a solid foundation for marketing.
Timmy Global Health is an Indianapolis-based non-profit that sends teams of volunteer doctors, nurses, and medical students to remote villages around the world where proper medical care is lacking.
Non-profits like Timmy Global Health have been a passion of ours since Shout Out began.
We first worked with TGH back in 2012 where, in collaboration with the American Medical Association, we launched the Take a Trip With Timmy campaign.
The campaign goals were to raise awareness for the cause, increase exposure for the Timmy Global Health brand, and to ultimately send two medical students on an all expenses paid trip with Timmy Global Health, complete with all the gear needed to document and share the journey.
